How We Began and How We've Grown

The Churches Affiliated Child Care Center, Inc. was created in 1988 as a mission of outreach by seven area churches to provide quality, state licensed early care and education to the community at affordable prices. The program began with one site and eight children at the Camp Hill United Methodist Church. Now with the help of affiliated churches, we have the capability to serve over 250 children at our early learning centers and school-age programs.

Our main site is located at 44 South 38th street in Camp Hill. Our Camp Hill Center was originally founded in one of our affiliated churches, the Camp Hill United Methodist Church. After 30 years at this location, we decided it was time to move and expand our center in June of 2018. We now have the capacity to serve over one-hundred children at our newly renovated center!

CACCC,Inc. has also been responsible for the implementation and operation of the before and after school programs offered to students in the Camp Hill school district since the fall of 1994. We also offer a Summer-day camp for children ages 6 to 15 years of age

Before and After School Programs For Your Child

CACCC, Inc. has also been responsible for the implementation and operation of the before and after school programs offered to students in the Camp Hill School District since the fall of 1994. Before and after school care is provided at both Hoover and Eisenhower Elementary Schools, where students engage in games, construction and science activities, indoor and outdoor play, arts and crafts, as well as quiet time for homework and reading.

CACCC, Inc. greatly benefits from the active participation of its affiliated churches. Camp Hill United Methodist Church, Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, St. Timothy Lutheran Church, and Mt. Calvary Episcopal Church are instrumental to the success of the program. Local churches interested in furthering the mission, are welcome to join.

Our Mission

Churches Affiliated Child Care Center, Inc. prides itself on being able to provide quality care and education to so many children at the most reasonable rates possible. Priority is given to families with demonstrated financial need who may not be able to afford the tuition charged by for-profit child care programs. A scholarship program, funded by the participating churches and annual fundraisers, helps to subsidize the tuition for families in need.

It is our mission to provide quality early education and peace of mind to working parents in our community. We continue to explore new ways to fulfill our mission by expanding and improving our existing programs.

The philosophy of Churches Affiliated Child Care Center, Inc. is that each child should be encouraged to develop relationships with others, foster independence, and express one's uniqueness in an environment conducive to physical and emotional well-being. CACCC is open to any child regardless of race, color, creed, or sex.
